Ash-Transfer Portrait
Our Ash-Transfer Portrait transcends a mere image of your deceased.
We create a subtly textured surface out of their ash particles, onto which we transfer their portrait image selected by you. Its surface is similar to that of a Buddhist sand painting. It's contained in a secure wooden shadow-box frame with glass protection.
Requires approximately three weeks to complete.

Mosaic Portrait
Individual ash particles are embedded meticulously, one by one, into a surface of warm beeswax until a rich and textured likeness is ultimately achieved. Akin in their materiality to Buddhist sand paintings, the often memorializing work of the artist Anselm Kiefer, or the sfumato technique of Gerhard Richter's photo paintings of the 1960s.
Contained in an elegant wooden shadow-box frame equipped with museum-quality glass.
